Outline:
This entertaining course will introduce native marine species
which divers, rockpoolers and beach walkers may encounter around the UK
and the keys to their identification. Their biology, lifecycle and lifestyles will also be covered, a great aid to the recognition of typical
UK species. The workshop mixes theory and practical sessions, interspersing
presentations with a beach session and the examination of samples.
Cost:
£50 each including course materials and tea/coffee
